The East Coast Swing
The Swing started in the 20s along with the explosion of jazz music. Originally known as Rock and Roll, East Coast Swing is now one of the most popular dances today. Danced mostly to a faster pace of classic rock music, the Swing gives people a chance to really move on the dance floor with almost an unlimited number of ways to spin the ladies around. On top of that you will see some really fancy footwork, pivot turns, and a fun style that keeps people coming back for more. East Coast Swing is the foundation of all the swing dances and one of the easiest to learn for beginners.
