About the Trophy System
"I just want to learn to dance. I'm not out to win any trophies."
Almost every student has made this remark at least once. Students enroll with Fred Astaire's becuase they want to become the best dancers possible in the shortest possible period of time at the lowest possible tuition. This is what the Trophy System accomplishes. It is a means to an end.
The Trophy System is the fastest and best way to learn to dance because:
- Each Student establishes his own goal of accomplishment.
- Each lesson is cafefully planned toward that goal
- The school prepares a personalized course plan to assist in achieving the goal set by the student.
- Frequent progress checks. Trophy System tests and supervisory chats insure dancing advancement as scheduled in the course plan. Students who advance at a faster rate than planned may be eligible for course revision upon the instructors recommendation.
The advantage of the Trophy Systems are not limited to those planning long-term enrollments. It is the best learning method yet developed for ALL students, whether they wish to learn just the currently popular dances or whether they want a complete dance education.
